Hello

Just wondering if anyone can give any information on this complex, We have been told that there is a problem with subsidence and a few houses are affected 

Obviously that’s a bit of a worry as we know about the problems expats have had in Pissouri. Any advice would be gratefully received,     Many thanks. Alis

I am on holiday in Argeka from 14th May.until 28th May 2022.

Whilst we are there it is my partners birthday and i was hoping that i could get a cake made for her as a suprise. If there is a baker or person that could help me with this it would be lovely.

Hi everybody, new to the forum & thinking about a permanent move to Cyprus.

We've had numerous holidays to the island, usually in the coral bay area, & have also spent time in Larnaca, but definitely prefer the west of the island.

Recently spotted a property for sale in Argaka, realised it's not an area we've been to, although did once spend a day in Latchi & liked it a lot.

Anyway, like the idea of slightly more rural properties, places with a bit more space & privacy around them, which the argaka property seems to offer, but what's the area generally like ?, I'm guessing for a shopping, doctors etc it's a trip in to Polis, but what local facilities are in place ?, & as Brits🇬🇧 (& dog owners🐶), is the local population accepting ?, don't get me wrong, I'm a big believer of the "when in Rome, do as the romans do" approach & would be very keen to integrate, but just thought I'd ask, as this would be a massive step for us .

Thanks in advance, any information about absolutely anything in the area would be gratefully received.

Not sure how long this forum is up and running but hoping that some people are still following! :-)   Myself and my husband (Jack) arrived 2 weeks ago and are looking forward to living in Argaka.  We have already checked out the local restaurants, Santa Barbara, Lisa's Place, Fly Again etc and are loving it.  Looking forward to meeting and chatting to other expats over here and finding my way around.  I really do need a good (preferably english speaking) hairdresser!  If anyone can recommend one I would be grateful.  Thanks a million, looking forward to hearing from you all!  Chris

Where is the nearest police station? We're in argaka. Also my kids are 17 & 19. Any suggestions for things to do for them? We only have two restaurants within walking distance but have a car. Thanks all!!
