Hi, my mum is elderly with mobility issues and lives in liopetri. She is lonely and feels v isolated even though she has my dad and a carer. Is there somewhere local she can go to for a cup of tea and friendly chat just to get out of the house and interact with others.

Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate some advice!

I’ve been working as a product manager in tech for the past 5 years, but I was recently laid off due to the challenging job market here in the UK. My partner, who is Cypriot, and I are considering a move to Cyprus as an alternative.

I don’t have an EU passport, but we’re open to getting a civil partnership so I can live and work in Cyprus. I’ve done some research on the tech scene there, and it seems quite focused on the betting and FX industries, which I don’t have direct experience in.

As a British expat, what options might I have for finding work in Cyprus? What industries or roles do other expats typically find employment in, and how challenging is the process of securing a job? Any advice on where to start or who to connect with would be greatly appreciated!

I'm looking for a carpenter to fix.replace an interior door frame in frenaros at short notice, the door has come off and because the wood is cracked/screw coming out I cant put the door back in.

Its only one slat that needs replacing as the rest is fine

Some nasty piece of work seems to think shooting local cats is ok.

My cat hadn't been home for a couple of days and the storm today brought her back this evening with a pellet wound in her shoulder. Vets tomorrow

We have lost a hearing aid which is blue in colour and is very small. It looks like the shape of a bean. It was lost either in the parking space (behind the South Coast cafe) or around the front along the South Coast/Nero/Gregory area. Thank you, we appreciate the help.
