I am now 80 and my wife is 77,we have decided to move to Cyprus. We had two lovely years at RAF Akrotiri leaving in 1973. We both cried our eyes out and have not been truly happy since then. It is now 50 years since we were last there and it must have changed quite a lot. My eldest son is also moving there as well.

We hope to be coming out to Paphos in a few weeks time to have a look round and see the house we have set our eyes on. My wife's worry is that she needs to buy new Furniture and doesn't like what she sees on the web. We cannot find any decent furniture shops so she is thinking of buying it here in UK and shipping it out to Cyprus. Last time we stayed in Paphos we saw lots of problems with thieving and hearing of break-ins especially in Chloraka.  

Could anyone tell us if there is anywhere in Cyprus without theft and break-ins

Any information would be appreciated

How does it work?

Please write a DM or an email ([email protected]) with the date you would like to book, hour and the number of people. Please note that because we're still a small team and there's a high demand, the time slots are limited!

What do I get?

We have a price just for a setup (if you want to bring your own food and drinks) and an option to add food and drinks!

1-3 people: Setup €60 (for all) and €35 for food per person.4-8: Setup €120 (for all) and also €35 for food per person.

Above 8 you're a VIP client, so we set up a custom price to match your needs!

What food do I get?

You will get a Cypriot experience of a board of local cheese, ham and snacks. We also have traditional pita for you (it's so good!) with local specialties like taramosalata and the all-time favorite - tzatziki.You will be able to taste the local dates, olives and feta. We also add local wine (bottle per person) and a refreshing bottle of water. As a courtesy on the house we add a little dessert to finish your picnic on a sweet note!

How long can I stay?

The duration of the picnic is 2 hours. We set everything up for you and then we clean it up of course!

Do you have special offers for birthdays/anniversaries/bachelorettes?

Of course! Making your special day even more special is a pleasure! We will work on details together, in case you need balloons/cute photo booth setup/a cake etc etc. Sky is the limit!

Where is it?

Usually we set up in Rikos Beach, but we can come to any beach near you or your hotel.

Just wanted to say hi and any advice would be really appreciated 

My Husband and I are looking to move to Cyprus end of 2024 beginning of 2025

We want to be in the Paphos area in one of the surrounding villages 

I’ve done lots of research but have no idea where to start how long it takes when should you put your uk property on the market  when to start applying for visas etc?

Is there a step by step guide anywhere it’s all a bit daunting at the start as some things I’ve read seem straightforward whilst other ones really don’t
