Moving to Tala

Hi
We are looking for a great village to look for a permanent home (children would go to school in Paphos). We would like a village with sufficient tavernas/ coffee shop and convenience store to feel like a community. What is Tala, Kanarese etc like for UK expat families? We are also looking at Armou as a convenient location, but don’t know it well and from memory there wasn’t much there? Ideally we would like to live somewhere with a good / friendly expat community feel!
