Hi. Advice please for best/cheapest Internet service,  only really needed for smart TV. We have a holiday home in Polis so,  if there is a service we could pay for just while we are there, that would be more cost effective. TIA

Hi Alison

There are few internet providers in Cyprus as far as I can tell. This firm provides a good service but not cheap. When I am over in Cyprus next time I will be searching for someone a bit more competitive. I got a 40 meg sysem which actually delivers about 19 -21 meg in Argaka. The English TV channels over broadband uses 20 meg. so sometimes the signal is not consistent. Go for 70 meg or above if TV is important to you. Also recommend a Cyprus pay as you go phone number pre-loaded with 20 euros of credit ( I've had it for ages and its still in credit ) This is important as most firms only deal with customers having a Cyprus number.  The card fits inside most mobiles.  CYTA.com  They have shops in Paphos.   www.cyta.com.cy

Good luck

Kind regards

Hi Chris

Many thanks for the information, I will look into it a bit more when we are back over next week but always good to hear other people's advice.
