Moving to Cyprus

Hi All,
New on here and any assistance will be appreciated. Recently retired from the UK Fire Service and looking to move to the beautiful island of Cyprus. I have done research ( probably too much, as I always do ) but I am after expert advice from people like yourselves that have been there and done it . How easy is the move , I can self support and give to their economy and NOT take , have BUPA private health care , is that valid in Cyprus ? what is healthcare like ? Hospitals / Clinics/Medical Centres , best places to live ?, want near the beaches and lively , to be around people and not isolated , sports facilities as very keen sportsman , just after a better quality of life .
