Anyone moved to Kiti to retire ?

Hi looking at retiring & moving out when our house sells in Uk . Just done a 2 week trip and did Famagusta / Paphos / Polis and called in Kiti on our way back to airport .
It had a lovely feel vibe and would be interested to hear from anyone who has made the move recently any advise would be much appreciated. We are early 60’s fit & active . Hubby plays bowls in Uk . We did drive through Prevolia to the beach but wasn’t impressed think we went the wrong way ? Lots of empty run down buildings 🤔
We want a village that has a vibe and we can walk to amenities.
