Apologies if wrong thread. Moving / working in Cyprus

Hi all,

I hope you're all well. 

Me, my wife and 5 year old boy are looking to move to Cyprus next year. My wife is currently in the process of obtaining her Irish Passport (which i hope will help us obtain EU residency and allow us to work?!?, is this right?)

We will be renting a property around the Pathos area.

I am currently a Lead Surveyor / office manager for a pest control company that services central London for high end clients, having started off as a technician. Previous works include, painter / decorator, ground works and maintenance. My wife will be able to work remotely.

Does anybody know what the current job situation for pest control is? Or my likelihood of getting a job? 

The goal is to eventually go self employed, have a van, and carry out works ie. Pigeon spiking / solar panel spiking and other pest control treatments. 

We have been to cyprus many times and my parents are in the process of buying a property around the coral beach area.

Any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated. We are both 34 years old and our boy is 5. As all here will understand, we are tired of living here and want to start a new life and are willing to go above and beyond to make this happen ASAP.
