Yes, did you have to apply in UK & pay for essentials or, did you pay whilst over in Cyprus & was it easy/straight forward. Just curious as to whether more complicated & had it put interested people off. I am interested & was for many years before brexit but wondering if it has put many people off now out of EU.

It’s a lot harder so many rules in place, criminal record checks have to be apostled, we have bought, moved in last September, because certain paperwork has to be apostled in Uk, we have just started the immigration process.

Hi  and thankyou for taking the time to reply which I am most grateful. We have heard quite alot of negatives about Cyprus so probably will give up on our dream and enjoy Cyprus for holidays only. It is better to be safe than sorry.

It is a shame, although it was hard for us because no one had told us what to expect. Had we of known the procedure we could have done most of it before we left UK, which would have made huge difference. Instead it had to be done through the solicitors here and over Xmas which didn’t help. I would follow your dream, get a step by step guide from a Cypriot solicitor and get all you apostling done before you leave UK
